Mission

The former Detroit Edison building was restored and altered to become the River Rouge Activity Center in 1979. Over the years it has also developed into the Senior Center with many special holiday luncheons for our Seniors. It also has coffee, television, games and lunch served Monday thru Friday. Field trips and flu shots are also provided for our Seniors as is free tax services. Project Hope, Meals on Wheels and monthly food commodities are provided for residents who qualify.
